“Tis the season to be Jolly”

Allegria donned our green and red apparel and spread some Christmas cheer at the Hindmarsh Community Christmas Event on Dec 18^th.

The gathered crowd enjoyed the mix of songs : “Happy Together”, ”Sing you up my Country”, “Cup Song”, Carly Simon’s “The Night Before Christmas”, “A Christmas Medley” and many others.

The biggest crowd pleaser for children was “The Twelve days of Christmas” Aussie version with pop up toys of a kookaburra, galah , parrot, koala, kangaroo and even a platypus

Special thanks to Gabi for percussion and Pat Wilson for keyboard.

Also a big thankyou to our musical director Angela Sharp who has brought us through difficult times for the choir coping with Covid and its restrictions.

We would like to wish everyone a very merry Christmas and we look forward to 2023 with more fun and laughter through song.
